[edit] Stadium Arcadium Reverts
Your editing on Stadium Arcadium is inconsistent with other Wikipedia entries on music albums and is becoming vandallism as it is unconstructive to what every article is trying to achieve. If you want to include pointless chart projection boxes for the album's chart performance, go through every single Wikipedia entry on a music album and put them there. Otherwise, please leave them out. Please also do not remove the template at the top of the page; the article needs better citations. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

Billboard chart information needs to be confirmed by Billboard to be verifyable. Band message boards and such are not an appropriate source. Until the charts are published on billboard.com or billboard.biz, the information should not be posted. Thanks. - eo 16:44, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
- Youre attributing chart information to an article about Billboard but getting your information from a message board. That post was submitted by a message board user, but how does anyone know who that is? It's not that I personally doubt that RHCP will be #1, the point is that there is no source until Billboard makes the new charts public. - eo 17:21, 17 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Proclaimed 'Pop Rock'
Many other users, including myself, consider the Red Hot Chili Peppers not to be Pop Rock. The fact that you consider their two most recent albums as such is incorrect. By the Way is not pop, but rather mellow and subdued, compared to their other works. Stadium Arcadium may be more radio viable in various aspects, but is in no way considered pop. - It may state that there are Pop Rock influences but none of the mentioned links give any obvious statement that either album is of any Pop Rock derivative. Yes, for sure, since Californication the band has developed a more Radio Viable sound, and somewhat more commercial. However, I can name numerous other albums which are far quieter (the (International) Noise Conspiracy's album Armed Love). Yet it is not Pop in any way; simply mellower. By the Way may be soft, but when has soft ever been classified as Pop? Pink Floyd has various soft albums, but none are considered Pop. They all contain elements of Pop, but none are truly albums which coincide with a quintessential Pop recording. Also, I must ask you to sign your name using four tildes (NSR77 20:13, 16 March 2007 (UTC)) when posting a message on a User's talk page. And as to the genre of Alternative Pop/Rock AMG likes to use: they are merely dividing Alternative Pop and Alternative Rock into the same subcategory for easier (and less cumbersome) reference. At a music store you may see the band Rise Against under the section Pop/Rock, when, in fact, they are nowhere near pop, but follow Rock guidelines.
