The transliterations introduced by Emily Zilch are not very helpful and, in light of the PERSIAN language, phonetically wrong! Her transliteration is ARABIC and does not apply here, as we are lining out Persian History in a Persian context. Proper Persian phonetics do pronounce the "L" in the Arabic article "Al", as opposed to Arabic pronunciation, which swallows it. "Fatima" is pronounced Fatemeh in Persian (and nor Fat_i_me!) The pronunciation Issue is very nicely lined out in Wikipedia Article Zahed Some Native Persian speaker (Ruzbeh?) please find a solution to the ensuing mess!
In oder to save readers from increasing confusion, the above mentioned accents have been finally deleted. While these accents could serve the knowledgeable reader as pronunciation guides, ensuing inconsistencies due to leanings toward Arabic pronunciation, disturb the historical PERSIAN context, as Persian (Farsi) native speakers have a differing phonetic approach of Arab names!
