Zahir Howaida (Persian: ظاهرهویدا) (also spelled as Zahir Huwaida) is a veteran singer from Afghanistan. He has been active since the 1970s and his popularity peaked with the hit single "Kamar Bareek-e-Man," the renditions of which are sampled by Iranian and Tajiki singers up until today. He now resides a secluded life in Germany and seldom performs.
