Zain Bhikha

Zain Bhikha (born August 9, Pretoria, South Africa)is a nasheed artist. He has written many religious albums concerning Islam, singing both solo and collaborating with other artists.

Zain Bhikha started singing for his family as a child. Later he sang an album he made himself for a radio competition and he won it. Later when Yusuf Islam heard about the album, he heard it and invited Zain Bhikha to London to sing with him. Zain was featured on Yusuf's project, A is for Allah, which was released under Mountain of Light UK.
After that he sang in many other albums. He sang in the royal albert hall with mountain of light in 2004. He sang "Praise to the Prophet", this was his first song in this event. He also sang as a chorus to Yusuf Islam's songs and Khalid Belrhouzi's songs. The other songs where he sang as the main person are as follows: Nkosi Sikelel 'iAfrika and Our World. He also sang with everyone in the last song, Tala 'al-badru 'alayna.
His most recent album came out in 2005, with other albums during Ramadan and is titled "Mountains of Makkah". It has one old song, but the rest are new. The other albums that came out were: Native Deen's debut album "Deen you Know" and Sami Yusuf's new album "My Ummah".
