[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Clara the Cow Cartoon.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Clara the Cow Cartoon.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Fritz Saalfeld (Talk) 15:32, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Crying... Silicon Tears
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions to the Crying... Silicon Tears article, but for legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.
Feel free to re-submit a new version of the article. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later."
You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here. You can also leave a message on my talk page. NickelShoe (Talk) 15:14, 3 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Track7 Games
A tag has been placed on Track7 Games, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page (below the existing db tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Lelkesa 16:55, 4 March 2007 (UTC)

Hi. And I'm no way affiliated to Sony or Virgin :) Wikipedia has clear notability guidelines. I'm not sure if Track7 meets the criteria. But you have to understand that if I see a new one-sentence page about a company I've never heard of without any links, I will be sure that it should be deleted from Wikipedia. Lelkesa 18:54, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
Ok i understand this.. But now? How does it seem now that I have polished it a bit and that I also put various links that enforce its status? (IGN,AdventureGamers etc) I'm kinda new in this thing, I usually ADD or CORRECT things in wikipedia, i RARELY make an article ex novo.. Could you help me out, maybe? :PZisimos 18:59, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Transit (Staying-Alive film)
Although I submitted Transit (Staying-Alive film) for speedy deletion at first, I have decided not to submit it for speedy deletion because you are continuing to edit it. However, the article really needs some text to establish what the subject is. I don't know what it means for something to be a "Staying-Alive film" other than Staying Alive starring John Travolta. --Metropolitan90 20:09, 4 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] 300, Spartan premiere
Hello, thanks for this contribution to the 300 article : "300 opened in Greece two days earlier on March 7, 2007 in the city of Sparta (followed by an avant première in Athens the next day)." I've added a fact tag, since the information isn't found in the ref that follows. However, I think it would clearly be notable if the film did open first in Sparta, so it would be great if you could provide a reference for this. Best, --Javits2000 12:19, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
Hi! There ARE many references, but all the websites are in greek!:D Actually the premiere was organised by Village Roadshow, the Austalian distributor and Multiplex owner around the world. Thus the flim opened two days earlier in sparta in the Village Center multiplex and one day later in Athens in the Village multiplex in ALL of its cinema screens in""The Mall Athens"". But unfortunately, poor International PR made that few outside greece knew about this :(Zisimos 13:41, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
