I again removed the succession box, since I consider it useless.
The box gave as predecessor Lothar II, who died in 869, one year before Z.'s birth and 26 years before he was made "king of Lotharingia",
The box gave as predecessor at first no one, since Z. was the last "king" of Lotharingia, and then (inluded by myself) Gebhard of Franconia, who succeeded in the rule of Lotharingia, but was only a duke.
If we want to have a succession box, the gap between Lothar II and Z. must be fixed.
This is the timeline from Lothar's death to Z.'s accession:
- Lotharingia divided between Charles the Bald (and subsequently his son) and Louis the German (and subsequently his sons) 870 (Treaty of Meersen) - 880 (Treaty of Ribemont)
- Louis the Younger 880-887
- Charles the Fat 882-887
- Arnulf 887-895
