The very first 10/10 party was 10/10/97, not 98.
A few other things to consider adding might be:
- community art campus monument on central campus - not sure if this is still a part of 10/10
- controversy of tree that was burned in 1999
- mention of the grinnell ultimate team's role in recent years (i don't know much about this)
- originally the party started on north campus and moved south
- information about collecting and financing the party (all done in advance - free to attend)
- 10-10 was picked not because of anything related to payday, though people associate the two now
