Zygote is the debut solo album by musician John Popper of the American jam band Blues Traveler. It was released on 1999-09-07, less than a month after Popper lost a good friend and fellow bandmember, Bobby Sheehan. Accompanying Popper on this album is Carter Beauford (of the Dave Matthews Band) on drums, and Crugie Riccio on guitar, Rob Clores, and Dave Ares (all of Cycomotogoat).
