Habropetalum ist eine monotypische Gattung aus der Familie der Hakenblattgewächse (Dioncophyllaceae), ihre einzige Art ist Habropetalum dawei.

Habropetalum ist eine Liane und giftig.
[Bearbeiten] Verbreitung
Die Pflanze entstammt den Regenwäldern Westafrikas, z.B. Ghanas oder Sierra Leones, wo sie im Unterholz wächst. Sie bedarf als tropische Liane Wärme und hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit.
