Alpine Ski is an Alpine skiing arcade game, released by Taito in 1981.
[edit] Description
The player controls a skiier, who can move left, right, or increase forward speed. The aim is to maneuver a skier through a downhill ski course, a slalom course, and a ski jumping competition in the shortest time possible. Two players can compete against each other.
[edit] Tips and tricks
For an exorbitant score, run over as many negative point flags as you can and avoid all positive point flags and bonuses along the way. Keep getting your score lower until it gets into the negative digits, and do all you can to keep it there. If your score threatens to roll up into positive points, run into trees. Keep all this up until times runs out. Your score will rais very high.
Alpine Ski is available on the Taito Legends 2 compilation.
