Astalavista Security Group is a website located on the internet address http://www.astalavista.com.

Astalavista has been on the internet since 1997 and is so named after the even more popular astalavista.box.sk crack search engine that got its name from the - then popular - AltaVista Search engine. It quickly became the underground authority on hacking and cracking on the net[citation needed]. Amongst computer industry officials it is somewhat of a controversial website due to the nature of its content[citation needed]. However a large number of security firms, military institutions and individuals access the site everyday[citation needed]. A current google search yields just over 2,500,000 hits.
