[edit] birthplace
wouldnt oberoth have been born on atlantis? -Xornok 00:41, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
- I thought the Ancient nanite experiment took place on Asuras. The entry in Atlantis' database mentioned a small research outpost on Asuras after all. Maartentje 07:39, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] tense
shouldnt it be "is" and not "was"? -Xornok 02:12, 28 September 2006 (UTC)
Asuras exploded while he was on it, so he is supposed to be dead... So shouldn't it be 'was'? Maartentje 02:17, 28 September 2006 (UTC)
maybe for oberoth, but niam is also "was"... -Xornok 02:26, 28 September 2006 (UTC)
- His status is unknown at the time, so we should maybe just leave it alone... However, he will be mentioned in the upcoming Atlantis ep The Return, Part 2, so maybe we should just wait til then... Maartentje 12:50, 28 September 2006 (UTC)

- well, he was very much alive at the end of progeny, he blinked, i believe... and since he doesnt need air to breathe, he may still be alive... -Xornok 19:48, 28 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Why do they all die?
Why is it that no Asuran character appears in more than a few episodes? I would like to see a recurring villian rather than the race as a collective being the villains. I thought that Oberoth was going to come back because all their knowledge is merged/shared but I guess they don't do that in that way.
Also, why are Cetus and Talus considered "major characters" exactly? They hardly had any speaking parts and their names weren't even given onscreen. Can anyone explain that?
Also, is it just me or did the Asurans in "The Return, Pt. 2" look like Turtles with those weird uniforms. Are they some sort of battle uniforms or what?

oh well, ori characters have a rather low life expectancy too, so I wouldn't worry about it. and you're forgetting that everything related to the Ancients can't survive for more then two episodes in atlantis!
and one other thing, Cetus and Talus weren't really major characters, but an article composed of two characters is just pathetic... Maartentje 11:47, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
