[edit] Portal:South Park

• I visited the portal you made on South Park. It's been nominated for deletion which I disagree with. I've added categories, images, biographies etc. I'm removing South Park topics and some other stuff. The only way I've worked out what I'm doing is from copying-pasting-changing stuff from Portal:Doctor Who. Have a look at it because it may inspire people on how to lay Portal:South Park out. I'll keep working on it. If there's any other ideas reply here:

How's the portal going? :) Anything need done to it. I changed the livery to a pine green because it ties with the fact that there are many connifers in SP. Do you think it would be a good idea to put an episode navigation item at the bottom showing the most recent episode?

When using certain template tags on talk pages, don't forget to substitute with text by adding subst: to the template tag. For example, use {{subst:test}} instead of {{test}}. This reduces server load and prevents accidental blanking of the template. Rettetast 23:15, 12 December 2006 (UTC)

Hi there. You are absolutely right that ATLAS experiment doesn't meet the current FA standards, which have been revised greatly since it was written, and all of your comments about it have been accurate and civil. However, I would like to strongly request that you show some heart in the future when putting others' hard work up for review. It would be a good start to indicate your awareness that the article met the standards for FA (and the main page) only 15 months ago, and that the rules have changed since then, and perhaps even offer to help with meeting the new standards. Hi, I am doing the GA Review for Pluto, I saw you were the nominator. I am having a problem with this image. (Image:Pluto structure ESO.gif) I read the ESO copyright page referenced on this Image file's page, and it notes that there are exceptions to the copyright policy. The text of the ESO Copyright page reads: "Reproduction is authorised, provided the source is acknowledged, save where otherwise stated. Where prior permission must be obtained for the reproduction or use of textual and multimedia information (sound, images, software, etc.), such permission shall cancel the above-mentioned general permission and shall clearly indicate any restrictions on use".

Which per the citations on the report that this image was taken from, would disqualify this image for no copyright, as the images credits are to sources which appear to be copyrighted. Though I am not sure who "Kristina" is. This will have to be resolved before the GA nomination can go ahead I am placing the nomination on hold, which I rarely do, but I feel the problem can be addressed quickly, if it isn't the article will, of course, have to be failed. I wouldn't think that fair use would apply with this image so if the copyright status cannot be verified the image should be removed and possibly deleted. I am sure a replacement could be made or found though. IvoShandor 06:16, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
