KRS-One is planing a Boogie Down Productions reunion album under the moniker "BDP". Members will include KRS-One, D-Nice, Willie D, Rev Run, Keith Murray, and DJ Jazzy Jay Kramer filling in for Scott La Rock.
Guests include, Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, Kenny Parker and more.
The reunion is said to be called "Ghetto Music 2". However this title is not official. Rev Run, the surprising new member, said another title will be "The Boogie Down Productions LP". Willie D claimed they will be signed to Death Row East ironically with the legendary Dr. Dre on the production. D-Nice said in an interview, "I can't wait to get back in the studio with Kris. Especially working with Jazzy Jay and Willie D again, along with Run rapping with us and even DR. DRE making beats for us! It's gonna be a hit, making our old school flavor mixed in with today's". The untitled album is scheduled for March 2007.
The first single is called "3rd Round Knock-Out"
