Big Night Music was the fourth full-length Shriekback album, released in 1986. The album is impeccably recorded, making the use of no of sequenced electronic rhythms notable. Barry Andrews dominates the writing and performing on the album, with remaining original member Dave Allen fading into the background. Allen would leave the band following this release. Mike Cozzi (now in Sky Cries Mary) played guitar on much of the album and left shortly after this album.
