ESP Custom Series

The ESP Custom Series is a series of electric guitars produced by ESP.
Models in the Custom Series include the popular ESP product line of the VIPER, Eclipse, and Horizon guitars. Both the VIPER and the Horizon feature one volume and one tone control knob with a 3-way toggle. The Eclipse has two volume and one tone control knob with a 3-way toggle. The Custom Series guitars are limited production models from the ESP Custom Shop chosen based on popularity.
The Custom Series models are high-end guitars made with other high-end features. They include high-end pickups from both EMG and Seymour Duncan. They include quilted and flamed maple tops over high-quality mahogany. Each model in the Custom Series is made by hand, paying much attention to the detail. The Custom Series included the Horizon 3 Custom but was discontinued after 2004. The difference between it and the Horizon was that the bottom of the guitar was more rounded and the upper claw of the body was longer.

The VIPER features neck-thru construction in a 24.75" scale. The fingerboard features flag inlays with ESP at the 12th fret. It has 24 extra jumbo frets and a graphite nut. It comes in black and black cherry with black hardware and white binding on the neck and headstock. The tuning pegs are Sperzel locking tuners.

The Eclipse features neck-thru construction in a 24.75" scale. The fingerboard features flag inlays with ESP at the 12th fret. It has 22 extra jumbo frets and a graphite nut. It comes in black and black cherry with black hardware. The binding is natural on the body and white on the neck and headstock. The tuning pegs are Sperzel locking tuners.

It comes in see-thru aqua and amber sunburst with black hardware. The binding is natural on the body and white on the neck and headstock. The tuning pegs are Sperzel locking tuners.
