You are invited to participate in WikiProject Houston, a project dedicated to developing and improving articles about Houston and related areas. |
Thank you for your recent contributions to Houston, Texas related articles. Postoak 23:39, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] David M. Gonzales
- Thank you for the compliment on the article. I would like it if both sections were seperate. The reasoning behind this is that some of us are using this as a standard in regard to military bios. Civilian honors should not be mixed up with military honors. My objective these last two weeks is to make sure that every Hispanic Medal of Honor recipient has an article in Wikipedia. Cheer! [edit] Darwin Awards
[edit] British vs. American English
Just a note re: your edits to Darwin Awards - "honour" and "sterilising" are not typos or mispellings, but are the English spellings of those words. See WP:MOS#National varieties of English and WP:SPELLING. MarkBrooks 21:15, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
- My edits to "honour" and "sterilising" Darwin Awards were actually reverts back to the way they were spelled in the original text and someone had changed them. The "honour" and "sterilising" versions are actually British spellings. I changed them back to American English. The other changes I made were for grammar/typos/clarity.--Evb-wiki 16:00, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

- So, they're actually the British English spellings? Isn't that a tautology? :) MarkBrooks 05:30, 13 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Too much Movie information. Route to movie section instead.
There's way too much informaiton about hte movie. I am not REMOVING information from the Wiki; I am redirecting interested parties to thte movie section, which is better-maintained. Thank you! Thanks for reading this discussion. 69.181.208.148 01:27, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
- I removed your entire TALK page? <blush> sorry, Evb-wiki. Wendy Wendy 04:24, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] License tagging for Image:The world at port in Mackay 2006a.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:The world at port in Mackay 2006a.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 21:15, 22 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Lakewood
Didn't you know about Uncle Joe Osteen?? :) Postoak 04:56, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
- There must have been more than one. ("About Joes . . .") But they must be black sheep, 'cause they weren't mentioned on the ref-link. --Evb-wiki 05:07, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
- Lol. It appears that everyone in that family is a preacher. Postoak 05:17, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Wow! Fast restoration!!
You are quick on the trigger correcting vandalism on the motorcycle article. I thought I caught it pretty quickly, but you already had fixed it. Very fast fingers on the keyboard! Jeff dean 21:15, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
- I just stumbled upon it. Couldn't chance someone thinking we were sloppy editors, or stupid ones. --Evb-wiki 21:20, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] External Links for Lakewood Church Article
And you are even now deleting the links from other articles with more then two links?? But you give me too much credit, some of those links you deleted were not added by me. -Samuel Pakalomattam 27/02/02007
- Next time I see someone add multiple external links (say 15) I certainly will. And . . . yes, they were all yours. (Check the page history.) --Evb-wiki 18:12, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
