George John Bailey (born March 7, 1982 in Launceston, Tasmania) is an Australian cricket player, who plays for the Tasmanian Tigers. He plays club cricket for South Hobart/Sandy Bay Cricket Club.
Injuries to other players in 2005-06 gave George Bailey his chance to play at the national level, and he took it with both hands, scoring 778 runs including 3 centuries in his first season. He is also an excellent fielder. Although seemingly better suited to the one-day game, he looks set to consolidate his Pura Cup position as well.
