[edit] Is the ending correct?
The current version of the article says
- Homer refuses, and Mr. Burns does the prank on his own by pouring fish guts onto the parade spectators.
As far as I remember, Mr. Burns wasn't throwing the fish gads onto people, but in fact the man from the toy shop who had offered the role of St. Claus to Homer. (Only the last scene revealed that the man playing St. Claus wasn't Homer.) Or did I remember the ending incorrectly? --Kompik 23:37, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Huh?
Why does 'retirony' redirect to this page?Marshmello 00:02, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
Creator of the redirect page left the following explanation:
- "redirecting to episode page (term has been removed from neologism page"
However, I do not see this word anywhere in this page ... ??? --Kompik 22:03, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
I see now - this word was in the section "Quotes" -- such section are being moved now to wikiquote. Have a look at User:Kompik/sandbox#Simpsons. --Kompik 23:58, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] What is this?
"The major gag near the end of the second act--where Homer gets raped by a panda--is held in a very low light by the series' viewers, and honestly one of the series' rock-bottom worst moments (wonder what the public would have thought if the one who got raped by the panda was Marge?)."
The hell is this? This is strictly POV and the last part in parenthesis is really out of place. I'm removing it.PowderedToastMan 01:54, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
You shouldn't, because it's true that this moment (Homer raped by a Panda) is widely regarded as the worst, most tasteless gag in the whole series. I accept that the bit in parenthesis shouldn't be there, it's pure POV and not encyclopedic at all --85.155.193.98 14:41, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, but "is the worst" and "honestly" are POV. If we say it's considered to be the worst, no problemo. --Orthologist 14:43, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
