Janez Detd.
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Janez Detd. is a Belgian punk/pop band that formed in 1995.
They have played as the supporting act for many greats such as The Offspring, Limp Bizkit and Good Charlotte. They have also played several big Belgian festivals including Pukkelpop and Rock Werchter. Their songs have been described to be similar to Green Day, Rancid and NOFX .
The band made history with the legendary "Beach Rock incident." During the concert it had started raining and singer Bones had invited the crowed up on stage. The result was nearly a thousand fans storming the stage. Never in Belgium had a festival of that size been taken over by fans. They played their tenth anniversary show at Ancienne Belgique in Brussels where they released their 2005 release "Killing Me".
