Jimmy Downey (born October 19, 1987 in Gympie, Queensland, Australia) is an Australian football (soccer) player currently contracted to Perth Glory as a right midfielder. Downey was with the Queensland Academy of Sport between 2003 and 2004 before joining the Australian Institute of Sport in 2005. In March 2007 Downey was signed by Perth Glory and is currently in the Young Socceroos squad.
