[edit] Cite Awards
I think everyone should start citing the awards just to add credibility. Some things like the PSM magazines just need to be cited based on which issue it was. Lionheart08 00:48, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Plot to vague?
I read the plot, and the whole thing just seems too short. Some more main things should be said like the Roxas/Axel friendship. Also the nobody explaination by Yen Sid. 8-Bit 03:33, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
- "Vague" and "short" are two different things. ' (Feeling chatty? ) (Edits!) 03:52, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
I mean like vague on the nobodies, but never mind... I did mean the Story too. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 8-Bit (talk • contribs).
I don't think the plot is too vague. However, the explanation of Nobodies said by Yen Sid should be there. Because what Nobodies actually are is not fully explained. ShadowRabbit 20:59, 25 March 2007 (UTC)ShadowRabbit
[edit] About the recent archive...
You could've just archived the Talk page up to December 2006 or somewhere around there... a few of the discussions haven't been resolved just yet and the whole page just looks funny to me, being all blank DiamondDragon contact 07:18, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Should Final Mix + Be a Separate Article?
I know that the game is still a ways off, but from what I've seen, the game looks like it's gonna have so much info that including the separate parts of the games in their respective articles (KHII and CoM) would make the articles too long and crammed. What do you guys think? ChromeWulf ZX 22:21, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
- No. The "so much info" amounts to nothing more than "New scenes and battles!" ' (Feeling chatty? ) (Edits!) 01:01, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
I disagree with the above user. Final Mix + will be more than "New scenes and battles!" Thenew scenes will become the official canonical story of Kingdom Hearts 2. Enough new scenes are planned that there will have to be a section on the story. Adding the new scenes to the story section on the KH2 article, however, would be extremely wordy. A new page for Final Mix + should be added to avoid clutter on this page. Buster Sword 20:50, 8 March 2007 (UTC)Buster Sword
- "official canonical story"? The only piece of plot that they're actually adding are the armored guys. Everything else is just elaboration on stuff we already know. The current plot section is sparse, so I don't know where you're getting the idea that we're actually going to detail the largely extraneous scenes from Final Mix. ' 21:40, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Non-existent-ones
Are non-existent-ones the same as nobodies? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 67.142.130.49 (talk) 23:59, 5 February 2007 (UTC).
- Um, yeah. It's the Nobodies that are always complaining about being nonexistant, right?—ウルタプ 00:48, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
- Nobodies don't exist. I think somewhere along that great big speech Yensid said, it was mentioned they were not 'real'. So, yes, they are non-existent.....I think...YazzaMatazza 14:48, 19 February 2007 (UTC)

- Well, since Kingdom Hearts: Chain Of Memories was on the GameBoy Advance, it could be possible that they could move it to one of the seventh-generation consoles (Not the PS3, I mena the Wii or the Xbox 360 [Or even the PSP]), but adding it because you think that it might be....Don't do that. It has to be offical or something like that (Disney/Square Enix announces it, etc.) YazzaMatazza 13:46, 22 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Content Editing (Axel Death Scene)
I would like to point out that there was major visual content editing done in the American version of Axel's death scene, cutting out flaming pillars and dying embers and whatnot. This video right here actually demonstrates the difference quite nicely:

[edit] Facts About Final Mix
I went on Youtube and saw a video showing what will be in Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix. one is, of course, new cutscenes. New places and parts in the worlds. And new boss battles. In the game, you can once again fight the Organization XIII members from Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, and you can fight Roxas in the World That Never Was. Thought you guys wanted to know
There's some new info about Kingdom hearts Final Mix+. You will be able to fight one of the soldiers from the secret ending as an optional boss. By defeating this insanely powerful enemy (he has been confirmed to have 16 health bars and is also speculated to be the strongest boss in Kingdom Hearts history)you will be able to see a new secret movie where the soldiers from the original secret ending (in regular KH 2) fight a new enemy and are all easily defeated. You can find out more about this at www.kh-vids.net ShadowRabbit 20:43, 25 March 2007 (UTC)Shadow Rabbit
[edit] Consensus sought regarding disinclusion of fruit snacks
- The following discussion is an archived discussion of the proposal. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.
I request an official consensus to declare that the "small promotion" from Florida's Natural Growers is indiscriminate information within the context of this article. Please remember, WP:NOT#DEMOCRACY, and explain your reasoning.
- Support. It is not unusual for a video game to be advertised. Likely, Kingdom Hearts II has had many television commercials, print ads, plus a number of smaller promotions such as those seen on the boxes of said fruit snacks. In the originating country of Japan, as well as the United States and worldwide. Mentioning this single promotion seems indiscriminate. The promotion offers no new information about the Kingdom Heats universe, and otherwise passed (or will pass) with very, very few people caring. –Gunslinger47 03:55, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
- Support. It, as stated above, adds nothing to anything. We don't need to say that the commercials were around 30 seconds long, do we?—ウルタプ 04:06, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
- Support, per above. Considering the advertisements for games and such these days, a promotion on one small brand of fruit snacks isn't particularly notable. Nique talk 04:21, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
- Support, as per above and I agree it doesn't have anything to do with the article since it is clearly off topic and in fact I glad the Trivia was removed because there was nothing noteable. -Adv193 04:51, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
- Support etc etc The Splendiferous Gegiford 05:29, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
- Support- Everyone here has already outlined the non nobility of this subject in the article. And to add, a fruit snack promotion isn't really all that big of a deal. DiamondDragon contact 05:54, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
- Support. Consensus was clear enough from the fact that only one user pushes for inclusion. The content fails at notability and isn't sourced to start with. (No, the picture isn't good enough.) ' 06:41, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
- This is for his sake. He's up to twenty attempt to place his trivia into the article, I believe. It seems he's been blocked for 48 hours over an unrelated edit war, so we'll have to wait to hear his arguments in this thread. –Gunslinger47 09:16, 11 March 2007 (UTC)

- Can you elaborate on your position? Have you read the Wikipedia:Trivia guidelines? –Gunslinger47 03:41, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
- Support, per everyone. Nothing about this promotion is special compared to other promotions. Axem Titanium 04:05, 13 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] More facts about Final Mix 2
I just also wanted to say that in the game, there is a boss you can fight who is non other than... the armored knight from the KH2 secret ending. In the game he has a gold armor instead of the silver armor. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 68.38.184.142 (talk • contribs).
- Please supply the reference for the promotion video that you saw. Remember, YouTube is not acceptable for obvious reasons and because it's a tertiary resource besides. It is highly unlikely that promos will be released directly on YouTube. See if you can trace back to where the poster got it from. –Gunslinger47 19:52, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
http://kh2.co.uk/image.php?view=kh2/fm/scans/sj1703.jpg How is this for a reference? I'm wondering if you'll accept that. DarkRyan75 23:08, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
-
- You can't say "he has gold armor instead of silver armor" for sure, because the secret ending had washed out colors. Also, there were changes in design between the characters found in Deep Dive and how they actually appeared in the game (the shoes, for example), so, yeah. Also, according to Shounen Jump, his "name" is the "Enigmatic Soldier" (謎の戦士, Nazo no Senshi), quite similair to the name of the secret boss from KHFM, the "Enigmatic Man" (謎の男, Nazo no Otoko). WtW-Suzaku 23:22, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
-
- The Colors of his armor are the same as in the CG clip. You just need to looke closely. It is visible to see the red and goldish colors that you would guess to be sliver because of the surroundings.Le Raine 16:33, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
- That picture in particular is not a good reference, but the magazine issue it depicts is just fine. Looks like Weekly Shonen Jump, issue…? –Gunslinger47 00:25, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
-
- I'd like to point it out, before people take it as gospel, that "Enigmatic Man" and "Enigmatic Soldier" are just overdramatic translations. Nazo no Otoko, literally "Man of Mystery", was officially translated as "Unknown", and it's likely that Nazo no Senshi will follow suit (as "Unknown Soldier" or whatever). I still don't see how this is notable, and I'd like the game to be released before we say anything definite. ' 05:36, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
Well, if you really want to know were I got it from, go to...I don't if you will believe me but try it, www.kingdomhearts3.net
- How does your advertisement relate to anything? ' 11:07, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
It's not my advertisement, I'm just telling you where I first saw and heard it from, that's all.
There's actually many screenshots and scans of this new enemy at kh-vids.net. As well as other info on Final Mix 2 such as Theater Mode, Crown Search, and etc. ShadowRabbit 20:48, 25 March 2007 (UTC)ShadowRabbit
[edit] Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix + As Separate Article?
Okay, in five days FM+ is coming out in Japan. A huge amount of information has already been released (boss fight with Enigmatic Soldier (he has 16 bars!), ability to fight all members of Organization 13, Roxas battle, new secret trailer with a VERY familiar-looking villain) for the game. I think that AFTER THE RELEASE OF THE GAME, we should either a) create a separate article, or b) revamp the old one. Like, a final mix for the article itself. Just an idea, since the current plot section is sparse compared to what it could be. I understand the reasons for its shortness, but still, a lot is missing. And for information on the new secret trailer, check out www.kh2.co.uk. Chrisalbro 12:41, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
- It's a special edition of the game, and so we can't really mention much except for the new things it offers. The new article would probably be excessively long, and it's better to just add to the current section in this article, when it's out. - Zero1328 Talk? 13:36, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
- The plot section is spare because it's supposed to be. We're writing for the general audience, not Kingdom Hearts nerds. ' 15:39, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
Excuse me, but don't call me a KH nerd. I just want the article to be better. Considering that most articles were written by people that know about the subject (aka, "nerds"), it's to be expected that they might ramble. I'm not asking for a 50-paragraph essay on the story, just that it be more detailed. The character articles (Sora, Riku) are huge on story. If you want to call someone a nerd, talk to those guys. Don't make this personal.Within the Veil 12:52, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
- I don't recall referring to you as a nerd. Perhaps you shouldn't make this personal. ' 15:04, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
Honestly i think that Final Mix 2 should have it's own article ONLY if there is enough information. If there's only a small amount of stuff to say about it, than there is no point. ShadowRabbit 20:50, 25 March 2007 (UTC)ShadowRabbit
- Keep the Final Mix info in this article only; it's not like you see a Final Mix page to Kingdom Hearts anyways. DiamondDragon contact 18:03, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
I also agree but only because Final Mix only has a few slight differences that should easily be noted in short sentences on the KH2 page. -Adv193 19:38, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
Hmmm...I definitely remember asking this awhile back... *scrolls up* Yeah, I did. I agree that KH2 FM+ should just be a separate section (at the most) in the main article. ChromeWulf ZX 02:00, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
