Born in a village called Wadakanchery in Thrissur district of Kerala, have been into different parts of India since childhood. My dad was a central government employee and have been getting transafered all over. At birth we were in Assam, then Delhi, Trivandrum, Hyderabad, Kozhikode (Calicut) and finally Thrissur where I did my Bachelors in Mathematics followed by a Masters in Computer Applications from Goverment Engineering College, Thrissur.
Early on worked for a few months as an instructor in V Computer Centre in Thrissur till I got my final certificates after which I relocated to Bangalore. Without much hassle I got through into BFL Software where I again worked for a few months and moved on to BEL since I was not happy with the project I had been working in BFL. Obviously the atmosphere was way different from a private to a public sector and later on relaized that it was not a right move in my career but certainly there was a lot I learned through those times.
After an year and half of working in BEL, I pursued my foreign interests and went to Hongkong in Oct 1995. I was working for HP as an HCL consultant. Those were really exciting days when I first landed on a foreign land which excatly coincided with my dreams of a foreign land. Work was fun with a group of around 25 indians on the same large project mostly bachelors. We had exciting weekends with lot of cricket (one of my passions), tennis (which I learned there), trekking, photography (the passion I created there and still living it) and obviously computers.
There I was in one of the cricket teams where I fianlly became the man of the match on the loser final match for a Hongkong wide cricket tournament. That was one of my most exciting games in my lifetime where I had made a couple of sixers and lots of fours ...sweet memories.
