L'ecole operates in a 3 story brick school building formerly called Cecil Rhodes School.

L'ecole has historically operated a french immersion program, whre grades K-4 are taught completely in French, and 4-7 taugh in half French and half English. In the early 90's, an ESL program was added. The french immersion program prided itself on French instruction in all subjects, including computers, gym and music.
