"Motivation Proclamation" is the second single released from Good Charlotte's self-titled debut album released in 2001. The video was directed by Marc Webb. It consists of the band waking up in a house, and performing usual morning rituals (yawning, eating cereal, drinking water, etc). By the last thirty or forty seconds the band has completely finished setting up their equipment in the living room and begin to play, only to finish the song.
[edit] Trivia
- Joel's favorite part of the video is Benji eating the Lucky Charms.
- Footage of Undergrads is shown on a television during the video, edited to look like the characters are singing the song. MTV wanted the band to include the footage because Good Charlotte also performed the show's theme song.
