- The scene where Jordan slides under the closing door and grabs her hat is a parody of a similar scene in Raiders of the Lost Ark.
- In the scene where J.D. is deciding what to wear out on his date you see J.D. standing in front of a mirror with a variety of different outfits on. If you look closely or go through the DVD version frame by frame, you'll catch a quick glimpse of J.D. wearing a t-shirt inscribed with the word "HIGH." Below this is a picture of a "high" smiley face surrounded by marijuana leaves.
- Many fans consider this episode to be the weakest of the series.
