While the staff tries to diagnose a woman who crashed her car due to uncontrollable muscle flailing, House and Stacy try to resolve their relationship issues once and for all. They take their relationship to the next level when they sleep together, but then a desperate Mark meets House in the hospital, keen to know how to get his wife to be close to him again. House views Mark's commitment to his marriage and in what is perhaps a show of House's sense of decency, he tells Stacy not to leave Mark for him, just as she has prepared herself to do so, thus leaving her heartbroken. Wilson on the other hand simply interprets this move as House's selfish desire to remain miserable. Meanwhile, Cameron refuses to get the results for her HIV test.
