- Party candidates were confirmed for the November General Election.
- Local-level posts, including city councils, mayors, and school boards were elected.
- Two constitutional measures were approved.

[edit] State Officers
- Agriculture Commissioner: Dem-NPL Incumbent Roger Johnson won against Republican candidate Doug Goehring
- Attorney General: Republican Incumbent Wayne Stenehjem won against Dem-NPL candidate Bill Brudvik
- Tax Commissioner: Republican Incumbent Cory Fong won against Dem-NPL candidate Brent Edison
- Secretary of State: Republican Incumbent Al Jaeger won against Dem-NPL candidate Kristin Hedger
- Public Service Commissioner: Republican Incumbent Tony Clark won against Dem-NPL candidate Cheryl Bergian.
- Justice of the Supreme Court: Incumbent Dale Sandstrom was unopposed, and retained his seat.
[edit] Ballot Measures
- Constitutional Measure 1 was approved, making proposed changes to policy relating to public school trust funds.
- Initiated Constitutional Measure 2 was approved, prohibiting the use of land taken by eminent domain for any future private use, excepting public utilities and common carriers.
- Initiated Measure 3 was declined, but would have made changes to family law concerning child custody, child support, and other issues.

- House: The Dem-NPL gained six seats, to total 33; while the Republicans hold all of the remaining 61 seats.
- Senate: The Dem-NPL gained six seats, to total 21; while the Republicans hold all of the remaining 26 seats.
