[edit] License tagging for Image:OMF.gif
Thanks for uploading Image:OMF.gif. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit] Image:OMF2.png listed for deletion
If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{GFDL-self-no-disclaimers}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.
If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.
If you have any questions please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you. – riana_dzasta 12:25, 17 March 2007 (UTC)- Hi, please don't reupload Image:OMF2.png under a restricted license, as it will be speedily deleted again. Consider using the license {{GFDL-self-no-disclaimers}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain. Please don't remove dispute/cleanup tags from articles, as you did to Phenyltropane, without first addressing/discussing the concerns on the talk page. Thanks! -Cquan (talk, AMA Desk) 20:06, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Phenyltropane
This article seems to veer way off course in the background section, where the following text was added:
BZ is a popular nonlethal incapacitating agent among the military, a man-made muscarinic that can be used in armed combat scenarios to wipeout the enemy. It is not harmful enough to secure a fatality, whereas deadly nightshade is more insidious.Epibatidine though, is outright lethal.
Firstly, the article is about phenyltropane, not chemical weapons. None of the above text seems to relate to this article at all. Also the Deadly nightshade article and the Epibatidine article both fail to mention anything about their use as a weapon. Immediately below the above text, the format of the line with the external link is overlinked (see:MoS:L), with internal links to completely non-related articles. It is not apparent how the external link supports any of the contents of this article. If it does indeed support the article, it ought to be used as a reference, by tagging it as such.
