To make sure you know this, octo- is the Latin numerical prefix for 8. In the octo- article are several words with this prefix. What does it suggest in your user name?? Does it mean that you own a group of 8 ferrets?? Georgia guy 01:58, 16 Feb 2005 (UTC)
- It's just a combination of octopus and ferret that someone playing an online game with me made up upon seeing a picture in the game that he first thought was an octopus, then thought was a ferret. I don't know how he confused the two. Octoferret 06:47, Feb 18, 2005 (UTC)
