Rave Un2 the Joy Fantastic (1999) |
The Vault: Old Friends 4 Sale is a 1999 compilation album of various Prince outtakes from his long career. It was released by Warner Bros. Records without his co-operation and at the same time as his Arista album release the same year, Rave Un2 the Joy Fantastic. Fans often complain that the songs have been over-worked and watered-down from the original versions that can be heard on various bootlegs, particularly "Old Friends 4 Sale".
No singles were released in the US or UK to support the album, however Prince has performed "Extraordinary" in concerts during his 2002 tour.
