Constant edits by Clan PMS members are turning this page into a PR sheet instead of factual information about the group.
Clan PMS is well sponsored, but draws criticism for the fact that they have never performed remotely well at any tournament, and continue to ignore that fact, even with their own self-promotion. The negativity directed towards Clan PMS is not related to them being a group of females, but to them being a group who claim their sponsorships come because of their skill, and not their all-female membership. No where on our website does it say that we claim to be the best clan or the best gamers. Some of our girls are really amazing gamers, but no where does it say that they are BETTER. What you will find in any article anywhere is that our main purpose is to be a safe haven for female gamers, which is why the clan is so large. You should also take note that we accept ANY female gamer, not the best female gamers. This of course will affect our competition performance. But of course, our main goal is to accept all female gamers, not focus on winning competitions. Just the fact that we can help any female make it to a public male dominated event is a privilege. Especially, if they tended to be shy or embarrassed during online play, like many of us were.
Also, we were just recently sponsored and it's something we worked very hard for by not only attracting so many female gamers but also having good sportsmanship when we play. If you look at our sponsors/partners, WITI, Xbox Live, FiOS, they don't sponsor us or partner with us because we win competitions but because we are trying to be a positive face in gaming and because sadly woman are still seen as a minority in gaming and FPS games in general. I'm aware that you aren't the best gamers, but from the way your group is promoted, it certainly isn't said out in the open. While one person placing well at a small tournament isn't really grounds for praise as a competitive organization, it's at least something.
As I said before, your group isn't looked down on by competitive gamers because you're girls, but because you're sponsored, and much of the time try to pretend like it's for reasons other than just being a clan for girls. You guys do a good job at promoting girls in competitive gaming. You don't do a good job at participating in gaming tournaments. Just lay off of the references to your supposed skill, which has been shown to be average at best, and there won't be any issues with the validity of the article.

Thanks Fallout. Xena was also a great competitive PMS gamer. She happens to be the number one female Halo 2 player in the world and the youngest, so good that she teaches lessons on Halo 2. However, our recent go at competitive gaming tournaments may not be going so good, but much of our competitive gaming is done on online clan matches where we have more success, and we still have a long way to go. However, I agree that Xbox should be a little more informative in why they are partnered with us, not because of our skills, but because we are known in the community. We help promote the community features of the 360 console. Although we didn't write the original article, this experience has made me even more interested in contributing to more Wiki articles and probably writing some of my own.

7 Feb 07: Removed the POV label as there is no ongoing discussion (this talk page was last updated July06), and there was no explanation as to what the label was aimed at.
- The article is in large written as a fan site/promotional piece, with very little encyclopedic content. There are mentions in the article which are mostly unnecessary and untrue, such as the claim of achieving top-8 rankings at CPL and WSVG events, and the 'in the news' section. The entire article is written in a quasi-POV style, which makes it largely unsuitable for Wikipedia. There needs to be a thorough rewriting of the article altogether. I also have some doubt whether it passes WP:BIO. Consider Wikipedia:Vanispamcruftisement as well. -- Laurens Hoek 00:45, 7 February 2007 (UTC)

If this passes WP:BIO standards I'll eat my keyboard. Additionally, there really does not seem to be much notability in this article. Yes, they're girls and they play video games and are mostly booth babes for things like the FiOS Grand Tournament, what's the point? ZBrannigan 05:29, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
