[edit] Broadcasting station in Reichenbach/Oberlausitz
Reichenbach since the end of the 1920s has a broadcasting station. It originally served as a free-standing wooden tower. It became a transmitter tower serving radio. Later, the tower was replaced by a transmitting pole which was renewed in 1999. The Reichenbach transmitter radiated at 1188 kHz with an output of 3 kilowatts.
The location is right next to Reichenbach and forests are a little further from the tower.
