Samson J. Clogmeyer is a fictional character in the cartoon series Camp Lazlo.

Samson is an accident-prone neat freak guinea pig who wears large glasses, and is usually seen with Edward. He is a disaster just waiting to happen. For example, we learn in The Wig of Why when "Madame Lazlo" correctly predicts with the wig on that Samson will be hit with a volleyball, throughout this episode, he wears a helmet and is hit by volleyballs. Also, in "Snow Beans", he is struck by a falling dictionary while skiing down the hill. It is revealed in the movie "Where's Lazlo?" that he never was hit with volley balls until Lazlo came. In the episode "Are You There, S.M.I.T.S.? It's Me, Samson", he is known as the "Camp Wimp" and is pushed around a lot. In addition, he is constantly bombarded with sporting balls, becomes fed up with it, finally snaps and fights back, taking it out on the other campers and becoming the camp bully for one day.
While in "Camp Kidney Stinks", we discover he has a very sensitive nose and refuses to go into the stinkweed with the others. He is also the most ignored camper, which is proven in "Camp Samson". However, he is the only one who can sneak into the junk food vault without being caught. Samson has no friends, as this was revealed in "Hello Dolly" whereas he was found with a book called "How to Make Friends". It's also revealed in "Irreconcilable Dungferences" when Chip wanted someone else as his best friend, Samson was greatly disappointed and started crying.
In aggravation or at random, he will repeatedly say "murp" or "nerts." This is an onomatopoeia for a noise guinea pig makes. He has an assortment of "health buddies" which he keeps next to his bed for his various medical problems. His "buddies" include nasal allergy buddy, asthma buddy, foot fungus buddy, eyeball buddy, and skin rash buddy. Jeff Bennett provides Samson's voice. In "Hot Spring Fever", his last name is revealed to be Clogmeyer. He is part of the Fava Cabin along with Dave and Ping-Pong, and his gross secret is that he has fat armpits. In Camp Samson, it's revealed that he is a part of Nerd Club and the "Whiney, Sickly Gray Furry Guys With Glasses Club" along with Clam, even though he isn't present in the pictures, albeit he fits the description. In "Seven Deadly Sandwiches", it is revealed that Samson is wheat intolerant. In "Hard Days Samson", he is Acorn Flats' mailman and has a deviated septum. His name is either spelled Samson or Sampson. He was once mistaken for celebrity heart-throb 'Hanly Manster'. It was revealed in the episode, "Taking Care of Gretchen", that he can move both backwards and forwards without even moving his feet.
