Hi! I'm Scoops. Better known to some of my friends as Marc. I'm a Canadian of Acadian and English descent. How's that for conflict? I've spent most of my days in Etobicoke in the city of Toronto, but I do like to get out and travel the world.
I can't quite recall exactly when I joined Wikipedia. I read it often and finally decided to start correcting some of the little things I noticed. My very first edit was correcting the handedness of the Leafs' Bryan McCabe. Mostly I spend my Wikitime surfing around reading new articles, learning new things. Occasionally I'll pop back to my watchlist to see if anyone is vandalising the pages of the topics I find dear.
What are those topics? They are diverse. Sports franchises like the Leafs to the New York Yankees. Conflicts of the 20th century from World War I to the Vietnam War interest me as well. I love video games. I have an abiding interest in the Sega Dreamcast and one of the most fascinating pieces of software ever written, MAME. I've also just taken to seeing if I could help improve the article for my old high school, Etobicoke Collegiate Institute.
