The band name comes from the influential melodic hardcore band CIV's first album, Set Your Goals.

[edit] Biography
Set Your Goals released their first self-titled EP on Straight On Records in May 2004. After signing with Eulogy Recordings, they rereleased that EP under the name Reset! on April 11th 2006 . Their first full length album, Mutiny! was released on July 11th, 2006. On April 1st via Myspace the band announced that bass player, Joe Saucedo, had left the band in order to raise a family. The band said that they were looking for a replacement bass player and listed ridiculous requirements for those wanting the position. It was then, that everyone realized it was just an April Fool's joke played on all of the fans.
