Steve Bunin

Steve Bunin (born in Seattle, Washington) is an American journalist who has worked for ESPN since August 2003. He works almost exclusively on ESPNEWS as the host of The Hot List from Monday to Friday in the afternoons (since August 2005). He also appears on ESPN, ESPN2, and ESPN Classic, and sometimes hosts The Pulse on Saturday afternoons (since 2004), ESPNEWS Pregame and ESPNEWS Gametime and often co-hosts ESPN Radios GAMENIGHT. He also hosts MLS Primetime Thursday on ESPN2.
Prior to ESPN, Bunin served as sports anchor/ director at five different local news stations including: WOTV-TV in Battle Creek, Michigan from 2002-2003, WLAJ-TV in Lansing, Michigan from 2000-2001, KNAZ-TV in Flagstaff, Arizona from 1998-2000. WICZ-TV in Binghamton, New York in 1997 and WTVH-TV in Syracuse, New York in 1995-1996.
In 1998, the Arizona Associated Press named him Best TV Sportscaster and Best TV Sports Coverage. Also, in 2000 the Michigan Associated Press named him Best TV Sportscast.
Bunin is a graduate of Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism in 1996. He graduated from Mercer Island High School in 1992.
