Svrljig (Сврљиг) is a town and municipality located in the Nišava District of Serbia. In 2002, the population of the town was 7,705, while population of the municipality was 17,284.

Svrljig is situated on the river Svrljiški Timok, 30 km east from Niš, the biggest city in south Serbia.
