[edit] History
Synestesia was originally a three member band, its founding members being Eero Kuusisto, Timo Harju and Jonne-Pekka Stenroos. Within the first few months Kalle Aaltonen joined the band. The band's first public appearance was in 2002 in a local venue. Their first demo was recorded in 2002 and the band had several gigs and a strong fanbase, especially in and around their home town of Pori. In 2003 Aikamme Orjat was released. It received positive reviews not only in Finland but from around the world. Unfortunately, the bandmembers were due for service in the Finnish Defence Forces and were forced to put the band on hold.
In November 2005 the band was put back together. Eero Kuusisto decided to leave the bass and focus on his vocal skills, so a new bass player was needed. Eero Hammais was found instantly and he joined the band after just a few rehearsals. With new material composed during the break, the band went to a studio in the summer of 2006. Their latest album, Heikkojen Herralle EP was released 30th of June 2006 as a free download on the band's home page.
