The Taunton Daily Gazette (Taunton Sunday Gazette on Sundays) is a daily newspaper founded in 1848. Based in Taunton, Massachusetts, its coverage area includes Berkley, Bridgewater, Freetown, Lakeville, Norton, Raynham, and Taunton.
On December 1, 2006, it was announced that the Gazette, along with the Fall River Herald News, would be sold by Journal Register to GateHouse Media.[1] Since early 2007, the Gazette has been published as part of Gatehouse Media New England.
