It's My Life (1984) |
The Colour of Spring (1986) |
Spirit of Eden (1988) |
The Colour of Spring is Talk Talk's third album and was released in 1986. At the time of the album's release it was quite unlike anything either the band had done before - or indeed like anything anyone else was doing. In many ways the album can be seen as an early arrival for the Brit Pop explosion which was to follow it some ten years later. It became the band's highest selling non-compilation album, reaching the Top 10 in several countries, including their homeland. With its international hit "Life's What You Make It," Talk Talk expanded their fan base, and garnered the band their first -and final- American hit since 1984's "It's My Life".
