The Death Sentence "Cloudy, Sometimes Clear" (Japanese: 死の宣告“くもり時々晴れ” - Shi no Senkoku "Kumori Tokidoki Hare") is episode 191 of the anime series Naruto.

The episode begins Naruto and Princess Haruna confronting Renga, the eldest brother of the The Three Criminal Brothers. Renga tells Naruto if he gives up the princess he'll set free his friends, Chouji and Hinata. Then tells Naruto how killing his brothers helped him since he was gonna do it anyway. Naruto obviously refuses, but can't seem to hurt Renga due to an invisble, hard shell around him. It turns out he can turn water in the air into ice crystals. He creates a giant lens in the sky and uses the sun to try and burn Naruto and Haruna as if they were ants.
The two run as best they could, but Renga keeps trying to blow them up. In all of this Haruna asks why Naruto is protecting her and even he doesn't know anymore. Renga tells Naruto when taking over the Greenery Country the Feudal Lord there was kind and didn't want his people harmed, just like Haruna's father. Also, the Feudal Lords daughter was kidnapped just like Haruna. It turns out that Feudal Lord was Haruna's father, and Renga killed him. He tells Naruto how people are like stepping stones and Haruna starts to realize that's not a good way to think.
Renga continues to shoot at Naruto when Haruna steps in to sacrifice herself. Renga starts to use his technique again when Naruto jumps up and reflects the light off his headband and it shoots through Renga's shoulder. Just then Shizune, Shikamaru and other Konoha ninjas show up to finally put an end to this. They tell Haruna that her father told Tsunade what was going on, and that the neighboring countries are all ready calling her Princess.
By the end, everyone is praying to Kikinojou's grave, Yurinojou's brother. They're about to leave when Haruna asks if Naruto could stay with her and protect the people of Greenery Country. Naruto is flattered, but just can't do it, since Sasuke is still missing.
