If there any administrators reading this, can you please do something about user BMT. I have not been vandalising the Ben Thompson page. I added a section called Legend and it is cited from reliable sources and it is relevant. But for some peculiar reason he not only removes it but gives me vandalism warnings. I am only trying to maintain a NPOV.--TheEditor20 16:21, 9 February 2007 (UTC)
JHMM13 if you add another welcome message to my page I will issue you with a vandalism warning. You are aware that I do not wish to be bombarded with welcoming messages and therefore I think such an action constitutes vandalism.--TheEditor20 19:03, 9 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Ben Thompson
I had come to the article on Ben Thompson by way of 3RR. I'll take a look. -- Kendrick7talk 17:59, 10 February 2007 (UTC)
Thanks. Also look at this 1

[edit] Regarding reversions[1] made on February 10, 2007 to Ben Thompson
Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. Rather than reverting, discuss disputed changes on the talk page. The revision you want is not going to be implemented by edit warring. Thank you. Cbrown1023 talk 18:14, 10 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] WP:RFC/BIO
Hi there. I just wanted to let you know that I reverted your comment at Wikipedia:Requests for comment/Biographies. Once a request has been made, discussion should occur at the article's talk page, not at the RfC request page. ShadowHalo 09:40, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] License tagging for Image:Rum boogie cafe.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Rum boogie cafe.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 20:12, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Mbeki source
Hi, sorry if I was too quick to revert your contribution on the origin of the name Govan. Do you have a direct URL for the article you are referencing? If possible, the URL should directly to the article. Otherwise, the URL should be removed, as it's not very helpful to refer to the lexisnexis home page. (It's perfectly acceptable to include a reference with no a URL.) Lastly, this story would seem to be relevant to the page on Govan Mbeki but not really to his son Thabo Mbeki? Regards, Zaian 20:11, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
- PS is LexisNexis a subscription service, or can anyone use it to look up articles? Zaian 20:20, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
Thanks, I've cleaned up the reference on the page Govan Mbeki, and added the source text to the talk page. Zaian 10:44, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Welcome message
Thanks for your welcome message! I was simply writing you back in response to this comment you left on my page. I felt it was unreasonably rude, and regardless of your claims of vandalism, I seriously doubt a discussion on a talk page, especially one spurred by such a hostile response to a welcome message, could be counted as vandalism anywhere on Wikipedia. Any time you need help in the future, please don't hesitate to stop by and leave a comment at the bottom of my talk page. If you would like to continue with this, please take it to WP:AIV and suggest to them to ban me for my incessant "vandalism." JHMM13 03:06, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Move of Fifth Gear
Hi. I just wanted to drop you a message explaining why I reverted your move. There are hundreds of wikilinks that point to Fifth Gear. By redirecting Fifth Gear to the transmission article, people are sent to the wrong page. Moves usually should be discussed first. If there is a consensus, move the page (leave the default redirect as is), fix all of the wikilinks and then redirect the page to the new destination. This keeps all the wikilinks in tact. I am not sure if Fifth Gear is even worth the move as there is a notice at the top of the Fifth Gear article on where to look if the person is looking for the fifth gear of a car. If you have any questions, just drop me a message. --PS2pcGAMER (talk) 10:51, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
