Thomas James Kenny (born July 13, 1962 in East Syracuse, New York) is an American voice actor who is perhaps best known for his work in the animated series SpongeBob SquarePants, in which he is the voice of the title character, the narrator, Patchy the Pirate, and a number of other characters. Aside from voice acting, Kenny has also been a cast member of the HBO sketch comedy program Mr. Show and the short-lived Fox Television sketch show The Edge, where he worked with Jill Talley, whom he subsequently married.

- While attending Bishop Grimes High School in East Syracuse, New York, Kenny was a classmate of comedian Bobcat Goldthwait.
- Since 2004, Kenny has been the announcer for the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards.
- He and his wife Jill Talley appeared in the Smashing Pumpkins music video for Tonight, Tonight.
- Has been described as "The funniest guy in pants" by fellow voice actor Billy West on audio commentaries for Futurama, on which Kenny has also made appearences.
- Voices Scooter the "talking baseball" for Fox Sports broadcasts of Major League Baseball
- Recently, it has been announced that Tom will provide the voice of the Decepticon Starscream in the upcoming Transformers series, Transformers: Heroes, set to air on Cartoon Network in 2007.
