[edit] Page Deletion
Hi, if you are interested in deleting a particular page, follow the instructions here. Please note community consensous is necessary before an article can be deleted on Wikipedia, so please keep that in mind. Continuously blanking pages is grounds for vandalism and you could be blocked. If you have any questions let me know. --Pilot|guy 17:23, 17 June 2006 (UTC)
Scratch that. Community consensous is not necessary in this case. Just add {{db-author}} to the top of the page. --Pilot|guy 17:25, 17 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] License tagging for Image:1561121 l.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:1561121 l.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 06:04, 3 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] University of Tampa
Thank you for helping flesh out the UT article. People seem to be more interested in just copying and pasting from websites, and you took the time to actually write a pretty solid entry on it...thanks! Mike H. I did "That's hot" first! 03:18, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Sigma Phi Epsilon
Hey, just a couple things I wanted to let you know regarding the SigEp article here, which youve made a few changes to. First of all, I changed the motto slot back to "no public motto", since listing the mission statement as the motto is inaccurate, and there is no way to change the entry in the infobox to show a "mission statement" instead. Also, as i said on the talk page, it is my feeling that the VDBL founding principles are more similar to what is typically used as a "public motto", and those are already included in the infobox. If you disagree, lets talk it over here or on the talk page so we can avoid a revert war on this. Second, regarding the removal of private information: It happens. I watch pretty much all the major fraternity and sorrority articles, and i cant count the number of times ive removed mottos, handshakes, meanings, etc. The real problem is that these things stay in the revision history of the pages, so anyone can find it by going through the history of the page. This is why generally i think its better NOT to use an edit summary when removing such things, to make it harder for soemone going through the history to spot that info (for instance, your edit says "remove private info", which while accurate, makes it very easy for someone scanning the pages history to find it. Just a suggestion. Thanks for getting rid of it, either way. Sucks to see that publicly viewable :( -Lanoitarus (talk) .:. 01:14, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
Hey, I totally agree on the motto issue I didn't add the Building balanced leaders bit in the first place just learned the hard way that you can't change the info box the reflect that. Although on reflection of the issue I do realize that SigEp does indeed have a motto at least the Balanced Man chapters do. It’s our publicly stated motto and you can look it up in our public guide book. "Sound Mind, Sound Body." I feel this is much closer in sprit to a motto than VDBL which are our guiding and founding principles. I would add this now but since it doesn't technically apply to traditional pledge chapters which although make up only a small percentage of the overall Sigma Phi Epsilon population are still in fact there. Any Thoughts? Also thanks for the advice on the secret info stupid of me to put that tag and after I looked at it I realized it. No help for it now I suppose.
[edit] AfD Vote
Just a comment. Your opinion only counts if you make it on the AfD project page. I just wanted to make sure that you knew that. Regards,Alphachimp talk 02:57, 18 July 2006 (UTC)

I have been working on this page for a long time and had everything the way I wanted. I can't believe you changed the pics around. Now the page looks terrible. I am going to try and reverse what you did. Stagophile 02:47, 6 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Thanks!
Thanks for the defense of the Sigma Phi Epsilon page! I to am a SigEp and keep a close eye on the page. If you want, you can add a sigep userbox to your page. Here is the code for it {{User:Chrislk02/userbox/spe}}.

If not, thats cool and keep up the cool work! Thanks bro. Chris Kreider 00:34, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Innapropriate content
There is an anon that keeps adding "innapropriate" content to the SigEp article. I am just reverting his changes but just keep an eye on it for when he strikes again. He has done it twice already today. Chris Kreider 18:19, 13 November 2006 (UTC)
- I actually traced the IP to Loyola Marymount Univeristy. There is a chap there and i would bet there is a disgruntled individual that is posting the innapropriate content. No problem with the ubox. Feel free to pass it on. Chris Kreider 19:44, 13 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Don't feed the trolls
It's great that you're reverting vandalism (and so quickly too) but reversion comments like "removed the suck" only feed the trolls. Try reading No Feeding Policy; I myself find it hard not to insult them for being annoying, but it just encourages them. --Iriseyes 20:06, 13 November 2006 (UTC)
Right on, dude. Thanks for repsonding. --Iriseyes 22:11, 13 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] SigEp vandal
The guy that keeps adding unsourced invalid information to SigEp articles is back at it. I reverted his edits several times. Being that it is unsourced and invalid, I am warning them as vandals for adding junk and innapropriate content to articles! Just keep an eye out for those out of place additions. Keep up the great work. -- Chrislk02 (Chris Kreider) 00:28, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Vandal tags
Thank you for reverting vandalism on Wikipedia!
Be sure to put warning tags on the vandal's user talk page (such as {{subst:test}}
, {{subst:test2}}
, {{subst:test3}}
, {{subst:test4}}
). Add each of these tags on the vandal's talk page, in sequential order, after each instance of vandalism. Adding warnings to the talk page assists administrators in determining whether or not the user should be blocked. If the user continues to vandalize pages after you add the {{subst:test4}}
tag, request administrator assistance at Request for Intervention. Again, thank you for helping to make Wikipedia better. -- lucasbfr talk 08:16, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
