Unchurched Belt
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Unchurched Belt refers to a region in the far Western United States which has low religious attendance. The term derives from Bible Belt and the notion of unchurched.
The region definitely includes Alaska, Arizona, Hawaii, Nevada, Oregon and Washington. Some argue for the inclusion of California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
