Vauxhall station is a National Rail, London Underground and London Buses interchange station. It is located at the Vauxhall Cross road junction opposite the southern approach to Vauxhall Bridge over the River Thames in the London district of Vauxhall. The station is on the border between zones 1 and 2 of the London Travelcard area.
The National Rail station is located on a viaduct, with outer suburban and longer distance trains from Waterloo passing through the station without stopping.
The bus station - which is spread out above ground across the road from the rail terminal - has a photovoltaic roof to generate its own energy needs. The London Underground station is in deep tube below the National Rail station and opened on July 23, 1971.

London Buses routes 2, 36, 77, 87, 88 (24 hour service), 156, 185, 196, 344 (24 hour service), 360, 436 and Night Bus routes N2, N36, N344, N87 serve the station.
Vauxhall underground is served by the Victoria Line between Pimlico and Stockwell.
Vauxhall rail station is served by South West Trains services from Waterloo station.
