WNYI is a television station in Ithaca, New York, serving the Elmira and Syracuse[1] television markets as a Univision affiliate. The station is owned by Equity Broadcasting and broadcasts on UHF channel 52, with a digital signal on VHF channel 9. It began programming in either 2003 or 2004, but started testing late in 2002.
WNYI is the only broadcast television station in upstate New York to provide Spanish language programming.
