Young Divas are an Australian pop group consisting of former Australian Idol contestants Ricki-Lee Coulter, Paulini Curuenavuli, Kate DeAraugo and Emily Williams.

In early 2006, Ricki-Lee, Paulini, Kate and Emily recorded a version of the Donna Summer song "This Time I Know It's For Real". The demo recording was originally intended only as an experiment to see how the girls voices worked together. This proved to be a successful session and so "This Time I Know It's For Real" was released for airplay in June, 2006.
A follow up recording session was planned and a version of the Mousse T single "Right About Now" was recorded. The song was planned and commissioned for a Network Ten promotion, This was also the first time the four were referred to as the 'Young Divas'.
Reaction from industry insiders was incredibly positive and it was not long until it was announced that a 17-date tour[1] would take place allowing each singer to perform their solo work whilst also teaming up as an ensemble in a 'treat' for the fans. The tour proved to be a success and not long after it was announced that their debut album would be hitting the shelves.
The self-titled debut album performed well and reached #4 in the ARIA chart and has since gained a 2x platinum status. The follow-up single was "Happenin' All Over Again" which reached a peak of #9 on the ARIA singles chart. The third single release "Searchin'", was released on March 17, 2007. However it made a rather disappointing debut of #40 on the ARIA singles chart, mainly due to low download sales as it was #25 on the physical singles chart.
