למה אתם מחקתם את הטענה שנאסר אוריק בזז ורצח את הכפרים הסרבים? זאת האמת. האם יש כאן שיקול פוליטי?

Hi, I don't know Hebrew, but I think that your advice would be very important for us. The majority of the Wikipedias use the term "Srebrenica masacre" (or similar) and few of them use the term "Genocide in Srebrenica". I would like to hear (1) what term is here, on Hebrew Wikipedia and (2) what do you think about the term. I.e. I am sure that in the history of Jews there were similar examples outside of the Holocaust (a couple of thousands of humans were killed with an intention, but it was not the part of the part of events like the Holocaust and Armenian Genocide were). So, I am interested how do you treat such events (and I am a little bit confused with right to left writing of English and I hope that i I wrote everything well) --Millosh 16:24, 26 בפברואר 2007 (IST).
- The name of the Hebrew article translates as "Srebrenica massacre". This is a practical choice, because this is the term usually used in the Israeli media, so that's what people would search for. And this is also a sensible choice, because this would be the Hebrew term usually used for this kind of events. A genocide would mean, at least in normal, non-judicial language, a more large-scale event - like the Holocaust, the Armenian Genocide, and more recently the Darfur genocide. However the international verdicts stating the the massacre was a genocide are cited on the very first paragraph. Dardasavta 15:03, 1 במרץ 2007 (IST)

- The usual words for such events would be Praot ,Hebrew for riots or pogroms, or massacare.
